UNFCCC Article 6 Markets Day: Is the PACM setting a new global benchmark for integrity?

On 8 June 2026, Oeko Institut, a partner in the ACHIEVE project, presented at the UNFCCC Article 6 Markets Day, held during the Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB64) at the GIZ Auditorium. The presentation, titled "Is the PACM setting a new global benchmark for integrity?", addressed the environmental integrity of the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM) under Article 6.4. The event, convened by the UNFCCC, brought together Parties and practitioners for an in depth look at where Article 6 stands, covering the PACM, the Article 6 infrastructure taking shape under the UNFCCC, and ongoing capacity building efforts.
