Summer School | CLIMATE ACTION BEYOND GOVERNMENTS (22–26 June, Radboud University)

Cities, companies, financial institutions, and partnerships increasingly pledge to take climate action alongside governments. However, climate action is not only about pledges. Climate action should be credible, fair, and deliver real impact.

In this summer school, we invite you to learn about and contribute to the challenge of strengthening climate action directly. Together, we explore how non-state and sub-national action can effectively contribute to achieving a low-carbon and climate resilient future, while ensuring high-integrity and accelerating action.

We feature an exciting programme with practitioner insights, expert inputs and interactive sessions, not only to sharpen your understanding, but also to improve your practical knowledge about voluntary climate action and integrity. By the end of the week, you leave with a concrete roadmap: a clear, practical pathway for higher-integrity and accelerated climate action, sharpened through peer exchange and discussion with people working at the front lines of climate governance.

📅 22–26 June 2026 | Nijmegen, the Netherlands
